Moon & Man is the solo act of Dutch producer and singer-songwriter Laurens van Oers (1992). Moon & Man is a mashup of different musical styles, and waves together dreamy vocals, vibrant synthesizers, smooth guitar riffs and punchy drums. Moon & Man’s debut album ‘Autogenetic’ (2016) got praise for its immersive storytelling, atmospheric soundscapes and poetic vocals and it was the start of a solo career for the young producer and songwriter. After that he released many singles, of which his debut single ‘Yucatan’ got airtime on radio stations worldwide. 

 

His musical repertoire exists of indie pop, electro, disco, deep house, techno and even a bit of lo-fi, as it is “hard to confine or put in boxes”. In 2022 his second studio album titled ‘Elysium’ was released, which explored many personal themes such as anxiety, depression, belonging as well as Laurens' fascination for outer space.

2025 marks the return of Moon & Man with the release of a collection of previously unreleased singles. 

 

Playing multiple instruments, writing and recording all vocals and samples ánd mixing his own songs makes Moon & Man a progressive act in the indie scene.
